School Terms and Conditions

We want to ensure that our school runs smoothly and ensure the safety of your children.

  • All parents must complete a Registration form when joining the school.
  • It is the parents’ responsibility to notify us of any changes to contact details.
  • In case of Fire or emergency, all teachers have a clear understanding of procedures.
  • In case of an emergency the school will contact the emergency services first and then the parent/guardian of pupil/s involved.
  • Parents must understand that dance is an active sport and that injuries may at times occur. The school does not accept responsibility for injuries sustained unless through the teacher’s negligence.
  • Pupils will only be supervised during class times in the studios. Parents/carer’s must ensure their safety at all other times in all other areas of the premises inside and out.
  • We will not be held responsible for children and young adults using the grounds around the building. This also includes the stream which is strictly prohibited.
  • It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure their child arrives on time for their class.
  • Correct uniform must be worn at all times unless otherwise stated.
  • Strictly no outdoor footwear to be worn in the dance studios.
  • Strictly NO food or drink (chewing gum) in the dance studios other than water in bottles with caps.
  • Only stud earrings and jewellery worn for religious and cultural reasons will be allowed.
  • The school will not be held responsible for and loss or damage to vehicles parked on our premises. Please do not sit with your engine running in the car park and be respectful of our neighbours by keeping the noise down.
  • Sometimes photographs are taken during classes and performances to be used on the Website and Facebook.
  • During the teaching of dance it is necessary to physically correct students, to help them to find and feel the correct muscles and positions. Agreeing to join the school you will be agreeing to this form of help and correction.
  • Half a term’s NOTICE in writing must be given to withdraw from any class. If notice is not received a half term’s fees will be charged in lieu. All fees are due the first week of term, 10% will be added to late payment.
  • We have very beautiful facilities, please help us to keep them that way.
